When I started writing this email, I was sitting in the Las Vegas airport on my way to a conference in Dallas, for several hundred women entrepreneurs from all over the world. If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, you’ve had a sneak peek into my travels over the past few months.

At the end of May, I kicked off my travels with a long overdue, 5-Day, Mother/Daughter adult vacation where we celebrated her straight A’s and her upcoming 35th birthday. (It’s never too late to follow your dreams).

​

Our Cancun vacation was filled with new and wondrous adventures as we explored the beauty of nature in breathtaking places like the Chichikan Cenote, where we received a healing/blessing from the Shaman of the ancient Mayan tradition before submerging into the healing waters of the Chichikan Cenote. Later, we were honored with the sharing of history and oral tradition as we learned from a Mayan elder and Master teacher about the pyramid at Chichen-Itza. Learning of the scientific and architectural miracle that was created by this powerful ancient civilization moved me to tears. Whether from our beachfront Bali bed or a variety of 5-star restaurants, we indulged in various types of delicious and mouthwatering cuisine. Great service, beautiful, breathtaking views of the ocean, and...peacocks all around! We had a wonderful time!

Then, as we rolled into June, I attended the Craft + Commerce conference in Boise, ID, which was hosted by my email marketing provider, Convertkit. It was such an awesome experience to meet and learn from some of today’s greatest creators and marketers like Terry Rice, Ange Matthews, Nathan Barry, and Bonnie Christine.

Then, to top it all off, we took another Mother/Daughter trip to Oakland to see one of my favorite and most talented R&B singers ever - Ms. Chante Moore. Let me just say her voice is simply transcendent, and for 56 - she looks GOODT!!
