{THE COMPLETION CODES™} Code 5: At the Darkest Point of the Year, the Healing That Makes Expansion Possible Begins

Greetings Reader,

I want to talk with you for a minute. Not teach. Not coach. Just a heartfelt talk.

And it feels like the exact, right time for this conversation, because today is the Winter Solstice.

For thousands of years, across cultures and traditions, this day has been recognized as sacred. It marks the shortest day and the longest night of the year, when the Sun reaches its lowest path across the sky. In ancient Rome, it was celebrated as Saturnalia. In other traditions, it symbolized death and rebirth, descent and renewal.

What I want to point out about the Solstice is this: from this point forward, the light (longer days) begins its return. Not dramatically or all at once. But quietly, almost imperceptibly at first, every day after today, there is a little more light than the day before.

And that’s why this day carries the energy that aligns perfectly with Completion Code Four: The Inner Healing Code.

Over the past several months, I’ve been in a lot of really deep conversations, private and group conversations, in online spaces and at in-person events, with women who are smart, capable, accomplished, and “doing well” by every external measure.

And almost every time, at some point, the energy of the conversation shifts.

The tone of their voice drops. The pace slows, and something vulnerable and honest begins to emerge. They start saying things like:

  • “I don’t know why things feel so hard.”
  • “I feel stuck, and I don’t know how to explain it. I keep pulling back right when I should be expanding.”
  • “I don’t understand why I feel so hesitant. I just keep circling the same decisions, and even when I know what to do, I can’t seem to move to my next level.”
  • “I’m tired in a way rest doesn’t fix.”
  • “I feel like something deeper is asking for my attention.”

When I hear that, I don’t hear a woman who lacks discipline, strategy, or clarity.
I hear a woman who lacks a sense of internal safety and external support.

They start saying the parts that most people don’t talk about, especially high-achieving women who are used to powering through and solving problems on their own.

Many of them think or have been told that they lack discipline, strategy, or clarity. But what if what so many women are with isn’t a discipline, strategy or clarity issue at all?

What if what they’re dealing with...

  • prolonged cycles of hesitation
  • self-doubt that won't lift
  • procrastination that feels heavy
  • success that feels unsettling
  • and the perpetual sense of bracing for the worst

...is your nervous system saying, “I’m not sure this, or my next level of success, wealth, or pleasure is safe for me yet”?

Hear me out, our bodies, especially our nervous systems, remember things our minds have been taught to ignore or forget.

They remember what it cost you to be visible.
They remember when rest wasn’t an option.
They remember when wanting more came with consequences.
They remember when being fully yourself felt risky.

The nervous system’s job is to keep you safe, not to make you successful.

And if your body learned long ago that expansion came with risk, loss, judgment, shame, or isolation, when you start moving toward more—more success, more money, more leadership, more pleasure, more space, in an effort to protect you, your nervous system will try to stop or slow things down, even when your mind says you’re ready.

Not because you’re incapable. Not because you’re afraid of success. But because the very thing you desire is unfamiliar.

This is why inner healing is never separate from external growth. In fact, it is the foundation of ALL growth, because outer success without inner safety is fragile.

And this doesn’t just live on the surface. It’s deeply layered within the childhood conditioning of our families, in widely accepted social constructs, rules, and external expectations.

It's in the harmful religious messaging about worth (especially for women); being taught things like sacrifice and martyrdom are godly traits, desire is deceptive, wealth is evil, and other deep ancestral patterns that were shaped by survival.

All of that lives in the body, and it quietly shapes your self-concept and what you believe you can have and hold.

Yes, you
can create success through sheer effort. Many women do. But holding it, stabilizing it, and enjoying it; that requires safety.

The Winter Solstice reminds us that healing and renewal begin in darkness, and that’s what
The Inner Healing Code is really about.

It's about being present
in our bodies and being present with the truth that our nervous systems are telling us. Not so we can keep powering through, but so that we can tend to what's emerging and needs care.

Inner healing is not about reopening old wounds. It’s about creating enough safety in the present that the future we desire no longer feels unsafe or threatening.

That’s how expansion becomes sustainable. It's how wealth becomes embodied, and pleasure becomes integrated instead of fleeting.

And from that place of safety, things begin to shift; not dramatically, not all at once, but in small and meaningful ways that actually last.

As we stand at this Winter Solstice, this threshold between darkness and light, this is the work that prepares you for what comes next.

Because whatever you step into in the new year, new goals, new visions, new possibilities, will be held by the relationship you have with yourself.

And when that relationship is grounded in listening within, self-trust, and inner safety, expansion won’t feel like something you have to fear or survive; it will feel like something you’re finally ready to receive.

Tomorrow, we’ll talk about how this healing reshapes your sense of identity, and why who you believe yourself to
be matters more than anything you plan to do.

For now, as you sit with this Solstice energy, I invite you to ask yourself, not critically, but compassionately:

  • Where do I still brace myself for the worst when things begin to go well?
  • Where does my body hold tension around receiving more?
  • What part of me learned that ease, pleasure, or success wasn’t safe?
  • What wants to be healed instead of fixed or solved?
  • What becomes possible when I stop pushing and powering through for answers and start listening within for what's been waiting to be heard?

From the desk of Dr. Frantonia PollinsFriday, July 25, 2025Greetings Reader,WHEW!! Let me take a deep breath, cause I've got something to say: It's only July and this year has been a LOT! Remember how I told you back in January that 2025, a Universal 9 Year, was going to be an unapologetic year of endings, closures, and completions? Well Lord knows I’ve felt every inch of that disruptive energy. I came into this year with fire in my belly, a ton of plans in my journal, and a sacred knowing...

Because I’ve been her, too. In my last email, I pulled back...
